Our stakeholders are Ondokuz Mayıs University academicians and Balıkesir Elektromekanik Sanayi Tesisleri A.Ş. This project, which we carried out together with our company, was successfully completed in a 13-month period and a prototype product was produced.

It aims to prevent aging and loss of life due to the Hot-Spot temperature, also called winding temperature. At the end of the project, with the Life Counter, which we created as a prototype product with high added value to our country ; Calculating the remaining life of the transformer depending on its aging rate, electrical parameters; A transformer monitoring system has been developed that allows analysis, recording, alarms and reporting of various values.

The " Energy 5G " R&D project, which is in the Communication Technology category of the EMRA July 2021 period, which we have carried out under the leadership of EPDK , aims to investigate the different effects that 5G communication networks may have on the electricity distribution systems (Geographic Information Systems, SCADA, etc.) in the field, and to check the 5G compatibility of the existing systems of distribution companies. It includes the identification, preparation of a road map together with stakeholders regarding the implementation of new business models to be developed, and presentation of legislative recommendations. This project, which we have carried out extensively together with our stakeholder Eskişehir Osmangazi University academicians, has been successfully concluded within a 12-month period.

An application was developedfor LCA calculations for 21 components in the inventory and the Carbon Footprint was calculated.
Hybrid Transformer Design and Manufacturing

The " Hybrid Transformer Design and Manufacturing " R&D project, which is in the Grid Operation category of EMRA January 2022 period, which we have carried out under the leadership of EPDK, is a result of the increasing integration of renewable energy sources into distribution networks, causing power quality problems such as voltage fluctuations, especially in the 400V low voltage distribution network, and changing distribution systems. A new hybrid transformer was designed and successfully manufactured to suit the topology and eliminate power quality problems. The produced prototype product was placed in the field and put into use.

The "Occupational Safety Enhancing Smart Vest " R&D project, which is in the Occupational Health and Safety category of EMRA 2021 July period, which we have carried out under the leadership of EPDK, is a project in which we aim to prevent injuries and deaths due to accidents experienced by field employees of Electricity and Natural Gas Distribution Companies every year . In this context, in order to minimize occupational safety with new and advanced technologies, a Smart Vest with an IoT system was developed as a prototype product and an application interface was designed for the remote monitoring system.
